How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:
- All data is stored in Supabase, a trusted database platform with enterprise-grade security.
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS.
- We do not store your brokerage credentials. You upload data via CSV exports or manual entry.
- For account identification, we only store the last four digits of your account numbers.
- Access to production data is strictly limited to essential personnel.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Helm. These providers may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication.
- Cloudflare: Website hosting and security.
- Resend: Email notifications and alerts.
We carefully select third-party providers that maintain appropriate security practices and do not use your data for purposes beyond providing services to us.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide portfolio monitoring, drift alerts, and tax-loss harvesting detection.
- Send you email alerts based on your configured preferences.
- Improve our product based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your data at any time:
- Use the Settings page to delete individual accounts, holdings, or your entire portfolio.
- Contact us at support@helmpf.com to request complete account deletion.
- Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
